So Hamlet and I were just chatting and I was slobbering all over her like a retard as usual and it made me think about how awesome it is that behind all the beautiful artwork by all the different artists I like, there is this living breathing talking person with a body and a mind and everything.
It probably sounds really dumb but I guess I always seem to see artist so separately from their work, especially if they draw creepy dirty sexy things. Generally speaking when I see some art on DA or w/e and I see the artist's DA ID I think to myself "Yeah that's what I figured you looked like lol" since I find some people are rather, mmm, I don't know, transparent? That's not quite the word I'm looking for but it's kind of WYSIWYG with their art and their personas I guess.
But then you get people like

hortaya and honestly it's so hard to look at their (superb) works and imagine that there's actually a human being behind it because that human being would have be like; super human to express themselves in such a wonderful and disturbing and erotic way. And when they post photos from their life or of themselves I'm like HOLY SHIT THATS WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE or w/e and my mind is totally blown because they just look like regular human beings and then I think to myself "well duh what did you think they were" and there's no proper answer to that lol
Like when I saw Hamlet for the first time I was like HOLY FUCK THIS HOT STYLISH BABE DRAWS ALL THAT HOT SPACE SEX ACTION WHAAAAAAAAAT and it's like this crazy connection that my brain fails to make! This goes for a lot of people, like
romanshoubu too and stuff durrrrr I duno, it's pretty awesome.
Anyway this rant was pretty useless I just wanted to express how amazing it is that there are people behind drawings and how absolutely mind-blowing it is to make the connection between the work and the mind/personality behind it Hmmmm I can't quite find the right words to describe what I mean but it's just really cool to me to get a peek into the person/life of someone whose works I covet and eyemolest on a regular basis and remember that all of that personality and life experiences goes into producing the artwork. And sometimes it can be totally mind-blowing or awe-inspiring... this goes for pro-artists too but I guess with people on the Internet it's easier to feel like you know someone since you guys interact on some level. Like
